As an international exchange department of the association, the office is responsible for organizing members to participate in international exchanges like international organization conferences, international symposiums, and inter-access; organizing members to participate in foreign affair training; specific implementation of the business exchange projects between the association and relative foreign organizations.
Ever since the establishment, the association has been proactively expanding fields and building new channels for international cooperation, and contacting with authoritative foreign institutions and organizations on certification and accreditation industry and quality and environment fields by the principle of serving the members and the development of the industry to study the possibility and feasibility of cooperation of mutual benefit. During the less than 2 years of official operation, the association has consecutively contacted with and started to cooperate and exchange with part of the quality organizations and certification and accreditation institutions of US, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Germany, Switzerland and other countries, and at the same time organized experts and managerial personnel of member institutions to consecutively go to Australia, New Zealand, US, UK, and Switzerland for a series of exchanges and symposiums with foreign counterparts. As a core member of IPC, the association has proactively participated in the regulation formulation and strategic study of IPC. Besides, the association has also proactively participated in conferences and activities organized by relevant states and regions, including the annual meeting of PAC, international quality conference hosted by American Quality Association, and conference on ISO/TC207. The association has also invited influential experts and scholars to give lectures and participate in symposiums in China, and exchange with domestic counterparts, e.g. in 2007, the association invited American certification experts on quality management system and Dutch experts on food safety management system; the association has also hosted some international organization conferences, e.g. in 2007, strategic working group conference of IPC was held in Xi’an, China.
In conclusion, as an association of China’s certification and accreditation industry, we would like to cooperate and exchange with foreign institutions and international organizations, and we hope to create opportunities and channels for the common development and progress of the members and partners and facilitate the healthy development of certification and accreditation industry as a whole through all kinds of international cooperation.
